The good news: we keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioural analytics. This page explains the small number of cookies this site uses and why.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help websites remember information about your visit — for example, your language preference or whether you have already seen a notice. Cookies cannot run programmes or transmit viruses.
Digich.org is a lightweight static website. We use only the minimum cookies required for the site to function correctly. We do not use cookies for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| digich_iq_hi | Functional | Stores your personal best score from the IT IQ Quiz / Bug Squash game so you can track your progress across visits. | Persistent (localStorage — not a cookie, no expiry) |
| Hosting provider logs | Essential | Standard server-side access logs (IP address, browser, page requested) maintained automatically by our web host for security and uptime monitoring. These are not cookies placed on your device. | Up to 30 days on the server |
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking scripts at this time.
When you use the WhatsApp button or links on our site, you are directed to WhatsApp's platform, which may set its own cookies subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. We have no control over those cookies.
Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log the request, but no tracking cookie is set on your device by Google Fonts.
Since we use only functional, non-tracking storage, there is no cookie consent banner on our site. However, you can always manage your browser's cookie and storage settings:
To clear the game high score stored in your browser, open your browser's Developer Tools, go to Application > Local Storage > this site, and delete the digich_iq_hi key.
If we add new features that require cookies, we will update this policy and inform you where appropriate. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
